Selecting Score Entry Method:

There are three different ways of entering the scores.

  1. Press the PROGRAM key to enter Program Mode.
  2. Press the TOTAL key to select the Score Entry Methods cyclically in the following sequence:
  1. 4-Player Stroke Counter Method: Display PLAY 4C

Each press of a player key adds one stroke to the respective player’'score. This method is recommended when an accurate trace of each players score.Whenever a player hits the ball, press the respective player key. This method is the default selection when the CLEAR/SAVE key clears all Game Numbers.

  2. 4-Player Score Keeper Method: Display PLAY 4K

The first press of a player key on a new hole enters the par value to the corresponding player. Each time you press the player key thereafter, it increases the score by one. This method is recommended when the score entries are made after each holes completion. This method takes fewer keystrokes than the first method.

  3. 1-Player Game Analyzer Method: Display PLAY 1A

This is for a one-player game. The player keys are used to distinguish the types of shots:
The PLAYER 1 key is for full swing shots.
The PLAYER 2 key is for non-full swing shots (pitching, chipping, bunker shots, etc.)
The PLAYER 3 key is for putts.

The PLAYER 4 key is not used.

The bottom row of the Player Field will show the total of all of the above shots. This is an excellent game analyzing tool for a serious player. You can also find many more statistics when you download the data to your PC.
